Paws Farewell was created by Dr Johanna Vicary in order to provide Taranaki pet owners with the option of having a peaceful and stress free pet euthanasia performed in their own home.

The aim for Paws Farewell is to help bridge the gap of general practice clinics limited time and resources in providing this out of hours service at a time when it is often more convenient to pet owners. Paws Farewell can help the needs of both pets and their owners in this most sensitive and emotional time.

I believe that when the time is right to say goodbye to your loved pet, their final moment should be at their home without fear, anxiety and discomfort; which many pets associate with a visit to the vet clinic.

A home environment provides a private, peaceful and familiar place for this farewell to take place.
